Accelerate MarylandExpress Partners

Accelerate MarylandExpress Partners (AMP Express) is a world-class respondent to MDOT's I-495 & I-270 P3 Program. AMP Express was one of four shortlisted teams to bid on the RFP and one of the only vertically integrated teams. The MDOT P3 Program RFP is a historic effort to reduce congestion for millions of travelers in the National Capital Region by seeking input from the private sector to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain improvements on bothI-495 and I-270.

Mayson-Dixon was hired on as project manager for the community outreach team, D/M/WBE and workforce development team and strategic communications for the project in preparation for the RFP response creating the website, coordinating hundreds of interactions and an meetings with D/M/WBE firms and planning community outreach events.

Mayson-Dixon and our web design partner, Diamondhook, created AMP Express's website that provided visitors information, about our team, our project, and ways to get involved. With Mayson-Dixon's help, AMP Express was also able to execute two M/W/DBE Outreach events to Maryland based vendors, as well as a series of five days of additional one-on-one meetings with M/W/DBE vendors. Another responsibility Mayson-Dixon had was coordinating the AMP Express 'Ground Team' that organized strategic partners (nonprofit, for-profit, and unions) to include in AMP Express's RFP response.
